"If I told you what it takes to reach the highest high you'd laugh and say nothing that simple, but you've been told many times before messiah's point you to the door though no one's got the guts to leave the temple."

Our History

The roots of Tucker Guitar Company can be traced back to a young Daniel Tucker working with his father, uncles and brothers for hours at a time in the garage on one project or another.  As this young man grew up, the projects became more sophisticated - including electronics for building police scanners, ham radios and then gas fueled model airplanes.  The family legacies live with Daniel and explain how he gained his skills and appreciation for craftsmanship.

The Tucker house was a very musical home.  It was driven by his father who was a member of one of the first Rockabilly bands in San Diego.  Daniel learned to play guitar as a boy.  His brothers were also musicians and the house was loud.  Then, when Led Zeppelin and The Who entered his life, everything connected for him.  In 1982 at 15 years old, he and childhood friend Paul Vandeveld fought their way to the front of the stage to see The Who at San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium and there came his inspiration.  "Long Live Rock."

Today, Daniel's appreciation for craftsmanship, keen understanding of electronics, love for having music in the house and devotion to family are the influences that fuel his passion for building Tucker Guitar Company.

I know from personal experience that when the guitar you are playing sounds good and feels good it inspires you to play more and to write more music. At Tucker Guitar Company we design guitars to do just that “inspire”. Our designs will inspire everyone from the working musician to the new student. Our guitars bridge the gap between inspiration, tone and feel.  I guarantee if you play one you will not be able to put it down.
